Yeah, sorry, but you essentially believe the same as me.
Power corrupts right?
I don't really think that humans are capable of handling being in power over other humans.
The power corrupts, people can't handle power.
Fuck sakes, like I still get denied access to places sometimes, even though the mandates are supposed to be fully legally dropped.
These people enjoy "doing the right thing" and deny you access to the hospital and to call security guards to throw you and your small children out for having the audacity to bring someone a gift without wearing a not-even-required-any-more mask and asking why you still need one when the mandates have been dropped.
Security didn't touch us, but holy shit, like I showed up with a pregnant woman, a 2 year old baby and a 5 year old girl. The gift shop was 15 feet further into the building and I just explained that I was going to drop it off there and leave.
Not good enough, security was ready to pounce if I took another step.
Humans can't handle power, humans can never own land
Yes, that's it.
I still don't agree with you on land ownership, but I don't entirely disagree either because of your very good point of one entity owning most of the land.
AFAIK Most land in the UK is owned by the crown. and commoners have limited rights over it, even when they have paid for it and think they own it. We have the worst of both worlds.
I don't think we own registered vehicles either. All documents talk about the registered keeper. I would not be surprised if the crown or the government actually owned all the cars as well as the land.
You have given me a lot to think about. It's a really useful conversation.
You could make a post about the topic of land ownership here, but I think you might have a real battle on your hands if you did, you would have to be able to show that your premises were sound.
My wife and I had a lot of trouble bringing my disabled son to hospital in March They insisted on only one parent. That wasn't going to work. We had to get special dispensation to bring two parents in. One person cannot handle him safely. It took a lot of wrangling and several cancelled appointments and even on the day we had to keep explaining it to everyone. It was like this:
That makes me angry for you. Mother fuckers.
Any ways, I didn't know about the "registered keeper" thing. That title really does make it sound like you don't own your own baught and paid for vehicle...
I'd make my post, but it's definitely an uphill battle to get my point across.
I honestly think my best from is the point that God is the rightful and legal owner of all the land and that any claim of purchase or ownership of land is basically theft.
Especially since the rightful and legal owner of the land has already outlined how we may lawfully use the land and his base minimum expectation of behaviour while guests in his property.
