Sen. Mitt Romney places $11.5M ski resort home on the market Romney sold his $23 million mansion in La Jolla, California, before unloading the ski lodge home
Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, has listed his ski resort home in Park City, Utah for $11.5 million, Mansion Global reported Wednesday.
Romney's home won't be on the market for long, however, as the listing is already marked as having a pending offer — meaning Romney and his wife, Ann, likely lined up a buyer before putting the home on the market, the outlet reported. Romney first purchased the 8,730-square-foot lodge in 2013.
The home, located inside the Deer Valley ski resort, features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Romney first purchased the home for $8.9 million.
"The 0.52-acre property has a private ski tunnel to ski in and ski out, multiple decks and panoramic views of the surrounding Wasatch mountains. Inside, the home features an open-concept floor plan, high ceilings, walls of windows and an elevator," MG wrote of the property.

Deer Valley is a world-class ski resort that has played host to skiing championships and Winter Olympics events.
The listing comes more than a year after Romney sold another mansion in La Jolla, California. That beachfront home, constructed in 2015, sold for more than $23 million.

The Romney's have a yuge compound down in Mexico, lots and lots of Mormons in those hills.
Don't know what he might be doing but he has options on where to live.
...we can hear you breathing. Q
I think his fam down there are fundamentalist offshoots of the Church of Jesus Christ & he has "denounced" them.
He seems to waffle on that as much as he does everything else in life. I am hoping this is a clear sign he is hemorrhaging funds & will be removed quickly.
Maybe, things I've read make me think that compound is a retreat for all mormons. They have a fortified compound and deals in place with the cartels, most days they have 'safe travel' passes arranged for trips into town and stuff, they are left alone. They have their own shooting range and arms, they compose a fair sized defense force on their own, it seems to work for them.
Some years ago a cartel feud did catch one of their convoys in a fight, a couple Mormons and kids were shot, but somehow the Mormons straightened it out, kept the Federales and cartels off their mountainside afterwards.
I think it is the official 'if you're a Mormon' retreat.
As far as I am aware, that compound isn't affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ, though it may be part of one of the multiple offshoot groups.
During the Civil War of the US, there were 3 sides. North, South & West (west being the "Mormons" who refused to fight). IIRC the largest military base at that time for the US was built in Utah to handle the "Mormon threat", Fort Douglas. Almost all soldiers were called back from Ft Douglas to help fight the real threat (IIRC the North recalled them to fight the South). It isn't hard to see the possibility that the South had agents promoting the idea that there was a threat in the West & had Lincoln's forces split.
The church overall accepted that the government would not allow them to live in peace unless they gave up the practice of polygamy.
Groups that refused to give it up continued to fight & started their own congregations that were excommunicated from the main body of the Church of Jesus Christ. Romney's group is one of those off shoot branches. There are multiple groups that claim to have the full authority that the Church of Jesus Christ also claims, though they are under different leadership & have different accepted beliefs as a result.
That said, if you are willing to read the books for yourself, it seems pretty clear to em that Governments have always been interested in destroying truth, we see this today even. Why would it have been different during that time. It could be that Joseph Smith was a fraud. Though I don't give a pass to the deep state at that time either. They were trying to wipe out a people who promoted individual freedom & responsibility for the choices that were made. It was also a group who was percecuted by deep state officials of the day (ie those who simply wanted power).
I have always found that it has been secret combinations within governments that create false stories that many believe for generations. We see this today. I don't know the full truth on the Mormon front, though I do know that the cabal/deep state has always done everything they could to hide any evidence of Hebrew influence in the US. It makes me wonder why & how much of any of the stories we are told about our nations rise to power is accurate?
edit: Romney's Group = His family group in that area that he still has relationships with. I do not know if he practices their flavor of religion. I do know that he doesn't practice the same way most members of the Church of Jesus Christ do. The vast majority want to be rid of government interference (ie local government vs big government) due to the percecution of governments past & their understanding of D&C 98: 5 And that law of the land which is constitutional, supporting that principle of freedom in maintaining rights and privileges, belongs to all mankind, and is justifiable before me. 6 Therefore, I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land; 7 And as pertaining to law of man, whatsoever is more or less than this, cometh of evil.
edit 2- Romney creating RomneyCare, before ObamaCare, violated this for many individuals in his church. Granted, they are also mostly sheep who have forgotten how to critically think for themselves when it comes to fellow members unfortunately.
