I get the sense that this "strife" between President Trump and Ron DeSantis is all part of the movie. DeSantis is doing wonderful things for Florida, and other than the prospect of some competition in 2024, there really isn't any tangible reason why Trump and DeSantis should have beef. I think they are both creating a narrative that will distract from their real intentions. By consuming the media with a narrative of conflict, Trump and DeSantis can keep them occupied on that like little gerbils on a running wheel, while they get shit done.
