I guess it's actually 90%, not 50%. I'll edit my previous comment.
Good stats but there's a few variables to consider:
Are the docs/coroners trustworthy? How do you feel about American medicine given what we know?
THC can stay in the body for well over 30 days and lasts for several days in blood. How do you know that they were actually intoxicated at the time of these fatalities/accidents? How trustworthy are police to you? Being government, they have an agenda just like the demonrats at midterms.
Where do you stand on liberty and personal responsibility?
We already knew that idiots who smoke would do idiot things. Thats what idiots do but does that justify prohibition of a substance that most consume responsibly and is FAR less problematic than alcohol? In my estimation, no. As if that would stop us anyway.
I'm certain that there's trustworthy data but I'm not buying those inflated numbers, fren.
You asked for stats and I showed you some. When the numbers did not reflect your own opinion, you claim the numbers are falsified.
You'd like to cherrypick data? By all means do a bit of research on the topic and decide for yourself.
I am all for personal choice and liberty. If someone wants to smoke marijuana or drink alcohol I couldn't care less, it's when they get behind the wheel and share the road with others that their personal choices directly affect those in their immediate vicinity.
IMO, if we're going to legalize another mind-altering substance, I think there should be stricter punishments for DUIs.
