Steve Turley has been saying this for a while. The dems vs the progressive dems. While certain cultural issues (trans) unite and strengthen repubs, they split the dems.
I hope so. Although, the truly important thing imo, and I'm sure you'll agree, is that people start paying attention. People get informed and stay informed, as things are constantly in flux. If you were a young 19 year old in support of the democrats in 1975, you shouldn't have blindly voted for them until 2022. People need to be awake and aware of the transitions that happen culturally, and with each new party leadership group. If they do that, then they won't be supporting the same party 50 years later, 'just because.'
That was one thing I admired about the repubs back in 2015. They were so angry, they were ready to throw their party leadership under the bus and elect a man who'd never been so much as a small town city councilman. AND, they had a diverse group running for president, whereas the dems only had old white people. If people learn to be more engaged in their country's constitution, modes of operation and laws, I will be happy.

They have successfully brainwashed most of their base however to vote blue no matter what
They'll vote for convicts over republican'ts.
Where I live they would vote for a box of rocks. The Fetterman signs are still up everywhere.
Their base are the ones that show up at Biden rallies. Exactly how many are there?

That and many of them are legitimate head cases. Seriously, they suffer from mental issues.
