The Collapse Of Canada’s Military Should Be The Biggest Story In Our Nation
"Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton has a seating capacity of 55,614 people. BC Place in Vancouver has a seating capacity of 52,465 people. IG Field in Winnipeg has a seating capacity of 33,422 people. BMO Field in Toronto has a seating capacity of 27,000 people. Why bring this up? Because it can help us visualize the absolutely disastrous state of the Canadian Armed Forces. It is quite possible that – at this very moment – Canada’s deployable Armed Forces personnel couldn’t even fill a CFL Stadium. ..."
Some years ago, I heard a talk by an upper level Navy guy who was bemoaning the heavy red tape impeding speedy recruitment. Even if they get an absolutely ideal candidate walking into a recruiting centre, it took so long to get back to the guy that by the time they have done so, in many cases the guy had lost interest and gotten another job.
I'm sure it has NOT gotten better.
Canada’s sole publicly acceptable political discussion for decades has in essence amounted to varying degrees of “At least we aren’t American.”
Anything the U.S does they either do the opposite in the case of right-wing policy. Or they take left-wing policy and take it to the extreme as fast possible.
America increases Military budget. They slash theirs. America buys new equipment. They put off upgrading theirs. America accepts 10,000 immigrants over 10 years. They’ll accept 50,000 in 5 years.
They’re essentially banking on the bloated U.S defense budget factoring in protecting them as well. And frankly any defense of the Continental U.S by extension includes a necessity to defend Canada. Given the rather extensive and open border we share.
The destruction of Canada is 100% intentional.
Same for America, except we got Patriots and guns.
Canadians are "nice people".
