I agree it could have been fired at quite close range. That would reduce the issue of any unwanted sightings. Who knows how many CCTV cameras might have caught it if it had been fired from miles away?
Ive tried to look at google maps and such to get an idea of where it could have came from and one thing I have never seen research on is angle.
In all the videos what ever it is that hits the building, its already travelling parallel to the ground. So, I was working off a theory that a jumbo jet would not have been able to get passed the highway and to ground level and level off in the amount of space it had to do it in at the speed it was travelling.
That lead me to looking at the overpasses to see if it could have leveled off and flown under the overpass. No it would be impossible.
The only thing of that size that could, in my mind, be travelling parallel to the ground at that speed would have been a SCUD missile launched from a platform of some sort from under the nearby overpass.
According to the official explanation, a pilot who could barely fly a Cessna managed to fly a Boeing 757, which is a twin-engined jet airliner, into the side of The Pentagon at ground level. That was the culmination of a manoeuvre which caused the airliner to fly in a 300 degree circle while losing the exact amount of height to be at ground level at the time of impact.
You might think that an inexperienced pilot would just fly straight into the middle of the building from wherever he was but no, he needed to get close to the front door with quite a difficult move.
Correct a descending 270' turn with a rate of descent of 8000' pm by a guy who couldn't be trusted to fly a Cessna.
It didn't happen, no way could he have flown that profile and hit the Pentagon level after taking out several lamp posts and dodging the overpass.
Pilots with 1000's of hours on type can't fly that profile, impossible for a complete novice, he would have over controlled massively and the aircraft would have ripped itself to pieces.
A fun fact, you know the video the FBLie released that came from the car park barrier? It had a grey squiggle then the fireball, and people were trying to say that grey squiggle was exhaust.
Well when run through software editing tools, it is clear that between frames 23 and 27, the grey squiggle has been moved and reversed!
Another one, the official reports has the 757 to the South of the main route in and south of the big mast there. However several eyewitnesses, including two on duty policeman who were getting gas at the Citgo gas station (which is to the North of the main route and the tower) gave testimony that without doubt they saw a 757 fly over the gas station, and the Arlington cemetery which is off to the North. The manager also saw a 757 as well as local workers, all saw it to the North of the route and tower/mast.
So again the official report doesn't match to the many eyewitnesses that were 100% sure.

I think that plane was to set up the witnesses so when asked whether they saw a plane they could all say, yes.
