There's another thread on this here right now and a Brazilian fren has said she doubts it's true as she hasn't heard of any of it there. I'm sure we all desperately wish it were true.

They are probably going to dose the Brazilians heavily with hopium so they think good guys are in charge and then it'll be too late to change anything after a year or so.
Like when Venezuelans took the capital but their controlled-opposition leadership sent them home, saying they would now negotiate with the regime, but they didn't and the leadership grades away and the seconds were disappeared and Venezuela went down in flames?
