Steven King is trying to pretend that its just ONE person noticing the elections are rigged,
Because he doesn’t want to admit that its actually a very common belief.
They are just mad because they cant gaslight us into compliance anymore.
I think its about time we start talking about the future of paying taxes to a corrupt government.
Ever since all mail in ballots in Colorado a republican has never won a major race.
We need to do away with mail-in ballots.
If elections are important, then show up in person.
They’ll never let it go. And the electorate has so high a percentage of lazy gimmes that the people won’t have critical mass to make it change.
Then make it a federal holiday and mandate time off work for all employees. If it's, you know, important. Mail-in voting is a necessary stop gap that allows more people to vote than would otherwise be able to because of the circumstances of their employment. Half of the microprocessor factory workers in Oregon wouldn't be able to vote without mail-in voting. College students are able to easily vote without having to decide whether they skip a class or skip a meal in order to vote.
Mail-in voting also encourages hand-counting and discourages electronic vote counting and harvesting.
I don't know that you need to necessarily make it a federal holiday per se, but granting time for voting would go a long way to destroying that narrative.
Kind of hard to mandate time off for workers without it being a federal holiday. If it's important, why not have it be recognized while also making sure no one has to choose between life and voting?
Until machines are booted from elections entirely, I'll continue to be happy with a system that enforces hand-counted ballots while also making voting a quick and easy process that can be enjoyed in comfort at home, accompanied by a quick trip to the library.
Agree!
This! Colorado has declined quickly in the last 6 years or so. Definitely not the same state we moved to over a decade ago, but I think across the board mail in ballots started before that? I really can’t remember if we got mail ins when we first moved. We were young and stupidly “non political”. 🙄
Back around 2006 I was an election judge in Douglass county and there were regular voting terminals. None of this mail in fraud.
I don’t remember when mail in happened for sure but during Hickenlooper’s first run Ritter I think it was was ahead late in the evening. Then trunk loads of ballots were ‘found’ in Boulder county and hick ended up winning.
Fucking criminal.
I moved here from NY 30 years ago to escape this same shit we’re now being subjected to.
I think that had happened across the west.
It seems like the easier voting is, the more people there are voting for Democrats. Obviously, people who always take the easy way are going to vote Democrat. This is why we should require that people have to show up, on election day, with an ID. Maybe even have a small math quiz or reading comprehension test to make sure they can speak english and aren't just bussed in from somewhere.
