I faithfully voted in 2018, 2020, and 2022; Republican all the way down each time. Let’s take a look at what happened after each election:
2018: we got shellacked hard. Lost the House and the majority of governors. Lots of fraud for sure but also a lot of effective anti Trump propaganda keeping normies asleep.
2020: the most blatant steal by far. We lost the presidency and our Senate majority, and failed to take back the House. Trump accurately claims massive election fraud, claims that he caught them all, but lets them get away with it anyway. (This is when he should have initiated the storm and arrested everyone. Screw the normies and their optics)
2022: If we’re extremely lucky we might get the slimmest of majorities in both houses. Plus, we lost some races that should have been no brainers (like Oz, who conceded like the coward he is). Plus, not every Republican is MAGA, so actually the Uniparty still has a majority in both houses as they always do, and MAGA is once again relegated to a minority. The first thing our new Congress will do in 2023 will be to send another $100 billion to Ukraine. We were promised a Red Wave and got a Red Trickle, despite the highest Republican turnout in history. Our best efforts still aren’t enough to counteract the steal. As with 2020, massive fraud is caught, but most on this board are coping by saying it’s another sting like 2020.
Which leads me to this simple question: what’s the point of having multiple sting ops unless you’re going to actually make an arrest? Why should we continue to lose (or Pryhhicly win) elections and delude ourselves into thinking we’re secretly winning?
IF Trump initiates the storm before 2024 and arrests the people behind our stolen elections, then things will actually turn out ok. If Trump does business as usual for the next 2 years and treats 2024 like 2022, his base is going to be completely demoralized and have little reason to care. Continuing to tolerate election fraud despite having all the evidence to make arrests is not a winning strategy.
