I don't think anything short of a military takeover can save this state. NM is big on tradition, and many who live here are proud of boasting that their families have been in residence for 8,10,14 generations or more. NM is also irredeemably corrupt, so you make a Venn diagram of both of these factors and you can see how a midwestern transplant like myself would look upon this "fine tradition" with a jaundiced eye. We also have a good share of CA-types who have lots of money, but no actual idea that there's a problem at all; they love big gov. Also loving big gov are all of the generationally-impoverished (and there are a LOT of these) with their hands out for yet another freebie, and they keep voting for the same libtards who keep promising them more free shit paid for by taxpayers. I know many who hated the governor's lockdowns and all the small businesses that went under because of her, so I have to think voter apathy & ignorance is assisted by election fraud to get these crooks over the line to the degree they have.
