I have been periodically checking in on it today, and there has been barely any MIL traffic up in the sky. This am, it was mostly P8s and Stratotankers flying in formation.
Is this normal?
I haven't seen this little traffic ever. Seems like many may not be squawking, which to me says something is up.

Veterans Day would be the logical answer, thanks. I just wanted to point it out as it's been like this the entire day, which was odd to see.

It's Friday and Veterans Day. If you're not on watch, you are at a parade somewhere and getting free drinks. My dad, a former submariner, would tow his little seal team submarine behind his truck in the Nashville Veterans parade, blast his WWII diving alarm, and get hammered. ???

No callsign is typically an indicator that they are on mission, The fact they are squawking at all means it isn't 'weapons hot'.
