It's a shite system and we have people trying to fight it. It was brought in bundled with a dark money issue, plus misinfo and cheating. Pushed by Murky's staff, because it was the only way she would get reelected and they knew it.
Well, there's a runoff, but Tshibaka (Trump's endorsement) eeked out a 2% lead over her. It's a win, and with only 71% votes reporting, and them slow rolling everything, Tshibaka looks like the winner so long as the same people go out to vote for her.
The last place candidate from each race in Round 1 is eliminated and their supporter’s 2nd choice selections are allocated to the remaining candidates on the ballot. This vote redistribution process continues until one candidate reaches over 50% of the votes cast. In each round of counting, each voter gets one vote.
We don't get to vote again.
Girl fight in the hallway! Those two would be a short lived encounter, talk about some brittle bones. Seriously though, we need to go back to the old way of politics. Talk smack or threaten a fellow colleague and you gotta back that up with a duel or an outright beating. Look up the Brooks-Sumner affair for reference.
That, and they are slow-rolling the results. With what we're seeing elsewhere, when they slow-roll it's because they don't wanna show just how bad the anti-Trump person did.
Runoff or no, depending on what we will see next week in Arizona, Murkowski's chances are slim to none in the run-off.
Because of Alaska's rigged ranked choice system. It's actually a miracle Tshibaka made it this far, let alone in the lead. Hence my confidence so long as Alaskan voters don't cuck out.
Democrats came out in force and ranked Murky. So Murky made to the top 4 in the primaries that then move on to the midterm. Now, we ranked these 4. So, since no one reached 50% of the vote, they go to second round count, where the 2nd ranked choice of the lowest scorer are taken and given to the candidates remaining.. if those votes.. only 6k-ish in total I believe, dont get anyone to 50%, then the 3rd place candidates 3rd rank votes will get counted in round 3 and be redistributed to the top 2. Since Chris Bye's numbers aren't probably going to help enough, then that means the 3rd in line Democrats votes will go.. 20k worth.. and they'll be going to Murky. Murky is the projected winner.
It's a little early to spike the ball - she ain't gone yet.
Yeah, perhaps I jumped the gun.
At least this post draws attention to WHY she has to go...
Believe me, most of us wish she were gone!
Feinstein should have been cast for The Omen.

Who beat her?

Tshibaka came out ahead, even if it's just 2%.

She's a republican isn't she?. Why wouldn't she have been taken out by an R in the primaries?
