Thank you friend! Its torture behind these lines. Just wish life turned out different and I could get out of here. Cant leave unless I abandon family who cant leave for both medical and financial reasons.
As for the nature of this post I get what is being said but I cant help but have the thought in my mind of one major difference between then and now was you could actually look your enemies in the eye and shoot back. Even if you only took one it was a visible step forward you know? But I will keep on trucking forward the best I can.
Yep I read that and rolled my eyes. I am not sure but it's possible those people were doing better then I have been lately.
Educational moment: Most of us do have much we need in life. Be glad you aren’t in an Middle East, Africa, Siberian Russia, or Asian country that worries day to day on getting food for 1 meal alone, vs having access to the internet and somewhere to run it from and a way to pay for it Anon. Think before chastising the OP when you are identically as fortunate as him on this anonymous forum. You have no clue his circumstances.
I have a love of freedom. It is all I need.
Food, shelter, toilet, family. A lot of people are losing those things. A love of "Freedom" doesn't grant you land to farm on either, before you try to bring that up. It also doesn't bring back family, or the mental health of those you care about. It won't bring back aborted babies either.
At a certain point, the hopium has to become realism. Stop tossing away everyone else's struggles because you don't know what those struggles are, or they don't affect you personally.
I’ve thought about this too. At least in the Revolution or 1812 if I felt frustrated I could join a militia and experience some immediate catharsis at the expense of the british.
