Believe me, I know the feeling. The not wha God tells us to do though. This word that God led me to this morning convicted my heart of what I have been guilty of.
I grumble alot about them and often am guilty of being hard hearted towards them, but I am working on God’s way. Yes, he give us righteous anger and when they refuse to repent and persist in evil, He will punish them.
My only prayer is that God will deal with our enemies in the way He sees fit.
And stay the hell away from those who want to crack our skulls open with a brick, burn down our businesses, or line us up against a wall and shoot us for not getting vaxxed.
Where our hearts are at is how we will be judged accordingly. I have been praying for the wrong thing for quite some time. I have prayed for judgement on the wicked and for justice and while those are good things, I should have been praying for their repentance and salvation first so they will see the kingdom of God as well. No one of us is innocent of sin and how God judges sins is not the way we judge. Paul was one of the worst, he had Christians killed until God convicted his heart and spoke to him. Then he became a witness and preacher for Christ with a most powerful ministry.
Almighty Father please send your light, through your son Jesus Christ, to the darkest places, let your love touch the stone hearts of men so that they amend their lives to your purpose. I pray that all who live and breath in sin awaken to their wrongs and repent, cover them with a cloak of divine intervention, and please have mercy on me, as I too have sinned in ignorance of your word. Teach me forgiveness, and give strength to those who must rebuke Satan, enlighten them, take away my resentments because you have all the power, do not let hate make me forget your grace and glory, and as I wish it for myself, let if be granted to them. May all men and nations kneel to your power, I ask this in Jesus' name, that all will come to Christ.
You mean as Christians we're not supposed to pray psalm 69? Yes, i know in the age of grace we're not supposed to for Jesus gave us grace, but man it is sure hard not to.
Or maybe, if we add, let them come to repentance Lord, but if not ...
Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them. Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Going through our own battle here currently. God be with you in your battle
I do pray for them, but the prayers are along the lines of what King David prayed for his enemies.

Thanks for the reminder. Most people aren't completely lost; they are still salvageable.

And no I'm not into pandemic "amnesty."
That they get caught and truly repent? Not gonna lie, at this moment, this is a hard one. Forgive me, Lord.

That's a lengthy list, but I know it's something I have to do. Thank you for the reminder.
