I was responding to the notion that he would "ask the military." Ordering the military is a completely different kettle of fish. That puts it into the realm of fait accompli: "I have ordered..." (Notice that it is still important to put it in the past tense, not the future tense.)
If, according to the devolution hypothesis, he is President-in-Exile, he may introduce the relevant head of the military (I can't believe it would be Miley) to announce an Operation that has been activated upon the occurrence of legitimizing conditions. This would legally get him off the hook for being accused of a coup. Good optics...although in my book, "good optics" would be a blinding flash (and a deafening report).
