Writ of certiorari means they are appealing a lower court's decision. The SC doesn't have to accept it. Does anyone know if this has made it onto the docket or not?
It was stamped as accepted on one of the cover pages ... but that may just mean a bureaucratic thing.
It’s just a formality showing that they literally received it.

All it means is he filed a petition for cert from an appeal that looks like it was summarily denied.
