“Most important day in the history of our country”
I won’t be forgetting those words. Sorry, but nothing today describes that statement. Not even close. When I found salvation...that was the most important thing to me. I know Lord, I set myself up to let myself down. With you I win Lord Jesus. I’ll do better going forwards. I just wanted to hope for man. There are good people in this world. They fight for what’s right. People suffer. Children suffer. We need more of you and less of man’s hollowed promises. We can do better. Sorry I lose focus on foolishness. May I be a better servant going forwards. Thank you Lord for your many blessings. Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for what you did upon that cross, that gave me a chance at eternal salvation with you Lord. In your name Jesus, I pray these things. Amen.

To be fair that doesn't specifically say it had anything to do with his speech. It could be something else that we don't know about yet, but I definitely get your point.
You forget one important word: hopefully. He said it would hopefully be one of the most important days in the history of our country.
Whatever he was hoping for obviously did not work out.
I was wondering why he put that qualifier in his statement - and now we know why... so we got his lame announcement instead of whatever he was hoping for.

Only if you can see it - otherwise it had to relate to the speech
Amén. At the end of the day, Jesus is what truly matters and HIS plan.
