Maybe that's why Trump announced early like he did.
Now that he is officially a candidate... any effort by the Congress to bar him from running for public office can be seen as a political attack against him. He could have a judge toss it out as political persecution to prevent a legitimate candidate from running for office AFTER they've already declared their candidacy. :>)
