I have great difficulty trusting anyone claiming prophecy or to be a prophet. The criterion established regarding the OT prophets was rigid, and false prophets were to be put to death. I do recognize the NT allows for dreams, visions, and prophecy as we close upon the end of the age, but with so much damage done to Christianity by the Pentecostal and “Word of Faith” movement (plus failed predictions, which violates, at least, the OT “test”) I most often keep quiet and not participate in discussions about end times prophets and prophecies.

I realize President Trump, in the past, has been surrounded by people who are literally wolves in sheepskin, but also genuine believers… but when people who claim to be prophets speak about Trump returning to the WH and making America great again, I cannot help but feel a glimmer of hope because I want that to be true. As to the extent, I safeguard myself with what I know definitively to be true in the Word of God.
