Being unaware that the " new agey" meaning is juat ONE of many meanings can lead to confusion especially if it evokes a negative emotional reaction that interferes with logical, critical analysis..
For example, in the bible Christ, and others, ascended ie rose up. Christs Ascension is still celebrated each year by Christians around the world.
During this brainstorming phase, others have noted that Ascension is the name of an Island with some evocative possible connections to our interactive movie.
As Q has said, "multiple meanings exist" as do multiple audiences.
I like how you call it magic to discredit the idea. Much easier to discard theories that are new and confusing to you instead of doing any critical thinking of the subject. Im not making a guess at Q's actual meaning but your description sounds like the equivalent of an ignorant atheist calling God a magic bearded man in the sky.
Uh, it isnt MY definition, guy so why are you disregarding the possibility that maybe it IS in fact based on new agey ideolgy?
Re read what i said. I never said it wasnt "new agey ideology" even though that term itself is also meant to discredit it by putting a negative connotation to everything the label gets slapped on. I said you calling it "magical" gives me the same vibes as when an atheist calls God the big magic man in the sky. Just because you personally dont understand something doesnt mean its nonsense.
