Hubby and I decided to start a monthly donation to DJT, but I HATE WinRed - I don't trust them.
Is there anyone on GAW who knows how to donate directly to DJT without going through WinRed?

Good thing you don't trust them. Winred goes right to the RNC. I have no idea why Trump is still doing that and it doesn't make any sense given that the RNC is trying to crush him.

That's because what you believe to be facts are, in fact, not true.
Perhaps, as Q suggested, base opinions on personal research using primary and vetted secondary sources. After doing so, things will start to make "sense" that currently don't "make any sense". Or you can choose to accept that Trump has researched this quite possibly life or death $$$ matter and still finds it to be the best option.

That's the one I looked at and at the bottom of the page it states "Paid for by WinRed. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. WinRed.com"
Which is why I question where to donate.

If you read the terms, it sounds like WinRed provides a platform for creators of websites.
"Through the Platform, you may be able to make Contributions to Political Committees and other Page Creators. In certain circumstances, you may also be eligible to receive certain products made available by Page Creators and/or Political Committees."
And at the very bottom of Trump's site, it says, "Paid for by Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee, a joint fundraising committee composed of and authorized by Donald J. Trump for President 2024 and Save America PAC."

WinRed is the enemy!
WinRed was created by Team Trump. Its a tool. Do some people who could be considered "the enemy" use the tool Team Trump created? Yes. Does that make the tool "the enemy"? Nope.
The anti WinRed narrative was originally created and spread in order to suppress donations to President Trump by preying on peoples legit distrust of the RNC. Obviously, President Trump wouldn't still be using the tool he created if it served his mortal RNC adversaries more than it served MAGA.
