What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
What is a food you could eat your weight in and not feel guilty about it?
Mine is spinach alfredo pizza. I could eat it morning, noon, and night!
Meat
King crab.
If somebody weighs 175 pounds, I donโt think I could eat 175 pounds of anything. Lol.
Pasta, with sauce, red, pesto, alfredo, meat, marinara, oil and garlic and fresh parm, so, basically sphaghetti with a choice of sauces, yes, I can, and I do, consider it my staple diet, at least 3x a week. The guilt I feel is not always having fresh veggies with it, so I add them to top it.
Sushi. The place I go I typically get a sashimi plate and several rolls, and come away surprised at just how much I can actually cram in. Like with Mexican, there's a huge plate and often you have to force yourself to finish it, I don't understand the difference LOL.
Oooohhhh!!! I love sushi and need to learn to make it. It's been years since I've tried. Mexican food I can put away no problem!
There used to be a site called stickyrice.com - it's archived on Wayback but I'm not sure if everything is there or not.
A good pot of chili is hard to beat (and I like beans with it! If it's for hot dog topping, chili without beans is good :) )
Good one.
I never think "hey, I could really go for some chili" but everytime I have it, I'm just about as satisfied with the experience as could be. Wife made a big pot of it last week and I was very happy.
That said, I'm basically an "anti-foodie". Totally lazy and unsophisticated in cuaine. I like to just get the food in me and move on. ๐
We're doing a "not quite Thanksgiving" family gathering on Saturday, and my wife is making a huge pot of chili (I can't wait; hard to decide which I'm looking more to, seeing my adult children, or sampling the chili :) )
Lobster Newburg ot Thermador
I've never had either of those, but I would love to try them.
Oh Lucille, if you like lobster, these dishes are to die for! Or just Lobster and drawn butter! Yum! I was tempted to say popcorn...it's my favorite food group! ๐ธ๐ฟ๐ฆ
