I have four older vehicles which I regularly maintain…they all work great and each has a specific usage. I also have no car notes. Trust me…it’s much better to have a dependable older vehicle and pay to have it fixed when something goes wrong than a payment each month.
I’ve always said that if the people want to help those with student loans, require that the loans be repaid using the original amount borrowed ONLY. The scam has always been the interest and penalties associated with them. That would be a great help to all the unfortunate folks snookered into receiving them in the first place by schools.
Many preachers are softening the gospel in order to appeal to folks. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus to atone for our sins in order to achieve eternal life has been placed on the back burner. It is being replaced by a feel good type message which is far from the Word of God.
Keep in mind that punishment is eternal and NEVER ENDS for those not obeying His gospel. But life everlasting is available for those who put on Christ in baptism and receive the Holy Spirit.
This is the message that should be first and foremost in any setting.
Having a free country with morals under God are the principles in which the U.S.was founded. A tolerance for immorality has led to our weakness. The ONLY way the nation will return to its former greatness is returning to that morality based on the Word of God.
If anyone repents, God will hear and forgive their sin if they believe in Him and obey the gospel.
Our suffering in this life is inevitable, Jesus suffered and DIED for us all, but then was raised from the DEAD! We will too . Keep your Spirit and faith strong!!
