1938 .... I was under the impression that people were encouraged to join shooting associations ....

But there is at least one missing: 1919: Germany was forced to give up their guns and army due to the bankers. Millions died consequently over the course of the Weimar debacle of hunger, sickness, filth.

Conclusion is almost right. It is not persé a leftwing thing. They happen to be the easiest to manipulate to execute the bankers policies ...
