If it was such an important cog on the disinformation wheel, why would the Deep State risk selling it? They said it was a powerful tool in elections, too. How and why did this go down? Would the Deep State risk letting truth shine in any corner?

You're assuming Elon isn't Deep State.
IMO Musk is not on our side.
When he found out Twitter was infested with bots he should have haggled for a lower price.
BUT --- He didn't do this. i.e. he wasn't spending his money.
or he decided to expose the fraud after buying and sue the pants off of them. I believe this is one of the larger motives of Elon identifying all of the bots with polls and likely if Trump sends even 1 single tweet following his reinstatement
Elon is pushing EV
Elon has children with Satan worshipers
Elon wants to put chip implants in your brain
Elon loves China
I know it fun to think that Elon is on our side.
People keep getting Elon-amnesia.
Elon bought Twitter to keep the propaganda machine alive --- Twitter was about to self destruct.
Exactly! And it's like a big Elon Twilight Zone circle jerk around here lately. I don't get it.
You summed up why I'm weary of Elon in the first 3 lines.
I'm not really sure what to make of him.
So far Twitter seems like an improvement, but that's really all I can say.
And he wants 5g everywhere.
simple minded of you IMHO. is he an actor? how would someone even gain the approval of the cabal to be possibly be able to take over their greatest propaganda machine of the day? who knows, the guy could be pure cabal, but most of his actions of late suggest otherwise. don't have such a closed mind about Elon or anyone that clearly "appears" to be part of the cabal. they just might turn out to be one of the greatest heros of this Great Awakening in the end if/when teh players and their roles are revealed. if he's cabal and guilty hang em high for sure, but for now I think we need to keep hope and as needed keep pressure on him to make twatter a free speech exchange even if he oddly quells some limited free speech (e.g., Sandy Hoax, #DiedSuddenly). there are plenty of red pills to prescribe to the normie sheep even absent these limited subjects
