Is it a crime to lie in a letter to the editor? They weren't under oath so I don't see the point. I think they should definitely be publicly called out and shamed for their dishonesty. But at the end of the day, the laptop speaks for itself and there is a lot of proof of the Biden crime family waiting to be exposed.
It’s like the Paperclip vetting operation. All will deny and obfuscate and throw out misinformation while semi implicating others. I agree…put the incriminating evidence out and let them defend themselves.
Revoke their clearance

Screw an interview. Sue them all for libel/slander, and seek punitive damages.
