I know I only watched this when baby sitting my nephew 30 years ago but why do they only call him the green ranger when he turned into the white one and was for longer? (At least that I had to watch)

Green Ranger was so very iconic that they attempted to reboot the White ranger twice to get it more marketable.

It's was the Bebop and Rocksteady of Power Rangers.
