My father is coming around. Its taken a long time and hes quite the fence sitter. I was trying to explain the oremise of wikipedia to him because he was trying to use it as a source to prove me wrong.
In showing him the universal edit feature i found out i was IP banned from editing the site in any shale for or fashion. It was rather embarrasing in front of him for lack of a reason.
I have never edited the site before. What could have happened for me to be IP banned from editing wikipedia at this stage in the game. What about you all? Please tell me if im the only one although i assume im not.
Lots of questions..

Change your ip. You can do that with vpn or just download TOR.
The fact that your IP address has been blocked on, Wikipedia, for making any changes, should be a red pill enough.
Have him watch:

Wikipedia is not a source of information that can be cited in a bibliography for research seeing as anyone can edit it. This was basic research education we got before writing reports in middle school. It's amazing to me how much a simple education is all you really need to avoid the pitfalls of this decade. All you had to was pay attention in skewl.
I am gonna bet that Wikipedia was not mentioned one time when this guy's dad was in school.
I'm going to assume you got this message at home. I'm also going to assume that your home ISP uses DHCP because I seriously doubt you have a static IP. Therefore it isn't guaranteed that it was you that earned the ban. And for Wikipedia to ban based on IP is stoopid.
Yea I was guessing al9ng those lines too. Unless it's what was searched on wiki. Thanks for the input
Missing the point here gentlemen, although thanks for the replies, are any of you IP banned... for what reason, and can anyone tell me why I would be with absolutely 0 previous input on the site.
Do you think It could be what you have searched on wiki?
