The Bible is corrupt and has been prevented by power hungry men. But you aren't entirely wrong. Jesus's message is still good and true. I know this because I see the fruits of loving my "enemies" and treating others the way I want to be treated. Really the only thing anyone needs to begin their spiritual journey is Mathew, Mark, Luke and John.
