Why do people announce? Just do it already!! Just dump the info, THEN announce what you have dumped, for fuck's sake!
Or at least give a short time horizon with a definate time, like
“in less than 48 hours, on Tuesday at 9:00am GMT, i will be releasing info”
48 hours is a good time window, because its long enough to give everyone a chance to see whats coming, but not so long that they lose interest
I agree that people in these places making claims need to put up or shut.
I also understand he needs to drum up support or else it will be released without any attention.
