Seems like buildings blow up, towers get hit by planes, schools get shot up, etc.any time something happens that causes a little slip on the grip of control. The loss of purchase on a narrative or the mechanisms of power might steer the Overton window in ways we don't realize. Maybe they announce to cause the expenditure of ammunition or maybe they're framing a new window.
Trump's recent, "mysterious" announcement for POTUS 2024 had the swamp rats scurrying so hard they false-flaggoted their way into trying to frame Russia for that Ukranian missile that hit Poland.

I do think that was Trumps plan with the 'announcement' There's no need to announce the arresting of swamp rats especially when the media is on their side. Just arrest them & have their tribunals. The media just parrot out that they are "unavailable for comment"

Or at least give a short time horizon with a definate time, like
“in less than 48 hours, on Tuesday at 9:00am GMT, i will be releasing info”
48 hours is a good time window, because its long enough to give everyone a chance to see whats coming, but not so long that they lose interest
