While many aspects of God and His creation (man+world) can now be quantified, explained, mimicked...I really have to take a step back and wonder...as a Christian...where is the line...when have we gone too far. God destroyed the world by the flood when they had gone too far, He also divided men by language at the tower of Babel, for so much less than what is going on today. I have always thought that "knowledge is power" and I have no doubt that man's knowledge exceeds anything we can possibly imagine, but when is it too far?
Back in the 70's a book was written..."Who Should Play God" that brought up a lot of excellent questions about when you gain knowledge, who exactly has the power. In high school (late 60's), I did a term paper on a series of 4 articles from Life Magazine that discussed where science and technology were taking us and then asking the significant questions about the ramifications of all this knowledge...legal, moral, spiritual, etc. It was an excellent series of articles and it really was a foreshadowing of exactly where we are today.
I don't mean to beleaguer the point but as much as I think knowledge is important, I think it has to be looked at through the lens of a (my) belief in God, as the omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent creator of everything seen and unseen in this world. Knowledge has become king and the central pursuit of mankind...but who or what is really behind the drive to want to "be God"? The Bible and its' truths are enough for me...God has the power and ability to let man discover so many of His hidden truths about the universe, but there really is a line and I unfortunately I think we have crossed it. ALL science and technology can be used for good, but it is just as likely that it will be used for nefarious purposes...as we see over and over and over.
The central them of the Word of God is reconciliation with God through the shed blood of Jesus. That is from beginning to end the message of the Bible...yet some say The Word is fraudulent, unreliable, etc. I think they have not studied the Word to understand the unique written message God has given us. In all...that is the most important knowledge man can embrace and if that is not foundational, then all other knowledge is of no consequence. Anyway, we need to really evaluate what we are seeing and hearing and where we are headed.
We live in a holographic universe [consciousness matrix]. Reality is created by our collective beliefs and fueled by our emotions.
Everything is the Ether. The "ether' is conscious energy [God]. We are individual points of conscious energy [souls].
"The Absolute is conscious energy in infinity (i.e. without boundaries), it occupies every dimension to include the time-space dimension in which we have our physical existence but we cannot perceive it." https://youtu.be/bOYl1oqgDX4
Like I said we can quantify God, our body, mind and spirit, but the real question in life is our relationship with God so knowledge is only useful if it helps us know the truth about God and enter into a right relationship with Him...because that is what has eternal consequences.
The Bible is the history of the Israelites under the rule of yahweh...it is not the word of a creator of all worlds..trillions of them..galaxies and universes....
Broaden your thinking.
There was no record of anything Jesus Christ said or did..the church say this and Jesus Christ is not a name a Jew would have..neither are matthew mark Luke and John names of his companions fellow conspirators for which crime he was allegedly crucified...so yes it is fraudulent.. in very many ways
There are eternal truths in every religion...
I
Do you honestly believe as the Bible states that god said the only way his creatures would get into heaven was if his only begotten son died a horrible death by crucifixion....
Do you think the Jews killing animals to purify them from sin is a true thing? That it would work?
How do you think someone sacrificing themselves is gonna work? How can that work? God would have to be a sadist and jesus a masochist for that to make it even something that could happen?? And why and how can that help you?
We are here to learn and grow have experiences. Etc...what we learn from here we take with us to our next life....how does that equate with someone having a horrible death? Guilt? A negative emotion...
I respect your right to believe whatever you like...I think we are at an impasse, tho. No, you have convinced me of nothing and I have no inclination to debate our points of contention. I could give you the tenets of my faith but if you don't accept them as valid what good would it do? I know whom I have believed in...I am just as sure in what I believe as you are. The God of creation and of the Bible is just as real as anything I have ever known. In my view God proves science and science proves God and I am comfortable with the fact that you believe differently.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
I interpret that John 3:16 is referring to the power of Belief and Christ was the embodiment of pure unconditional love [vibration] [frequency].
We are all "creators". Our beliefs get manifested in this realm. A good example of this is the Placebo effect. If we believe that unconditional love [Christ] is the way we will create peace and unity and bring heaven to Earth. When we embody unconditional love our vibration [vibe] increases and our DNA changes. Like the stories of Jesus performing miracles and raising from the dead. We are ALL "God's" children. We are all capable of what Jesus accomplished. IMO
The Bible talks about aliens creating us..we were here already...they had technology..war weapons. They pretended to be gods so don't quote the homicidal psychopaths in th Bible at me.
I don't consider being a martyr and allowing yourself to be slaughtered is unconditional love either. Not that it happened. Try reading the 75 books banned ..the gospel of Peter for one.
"I don't consider being a martyr and allowing yourself to be slaughtered is unconditional love."
"Forgive them father for they know not what they do."
That sounds a lot like unconditional love to me. Especially from a higher consciousness individual that understood what this world truly is, a Consciousness Matrix.
Dying on the cross was a pure example of unconditional love that echoed throughout humanity for thousands of years.

Tesla believed in the Aether and it "fueled" many of his inventions.
Maxwell believe in the Aether and his FIRST edition of his equations included it.
Maxwell was forced (by whom?) to rewrite them and the SECOND version excluded the Aether.

Him?
I have no problem referring to God as Him. Really, all this knowledge is EXTREMELY fascinating but to what end...that is really the question.

Do you see?
