The law enforcement authorities on the scene are either incompetent or there’s a cover-up (or both). IMHO, it's a cover-up. As Michael Hoffman opined:
For days news of a dog having been found in late October ominously skinned head to tail a few miles away from the site of the killings had circulated among local people, but only in the last 36 hours did the regional media see fit to report it. As for Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), are we expected to believe that no one among the much vaunted "FBI Special Investigation Team" thought for several days to cordon off the woods behind the house to search for evidence before the site was disturbed? That cordon was only imposed on 11-21-22
When roommates and others came upon the scene of the massacre in the apartment building it has been reported that they used a victim’s cell phone to call the authorities. Why was that?
The alleged knife (not yet found) supposedly used in the Moscow murders is being referred to in the local media as a “Rambo” blade. Rambo is defined in popular culture (and the Cambridge English Dictionary) as a tough, aggressive man who uses violent methods against his enemies. In the eponymous movies, Rambo is a hero.
Moscow Idaho's city government is corrupt. Police in the recent past have arrested a local conservative pastor’s son and grandchildren fof composing and posting satirical flyers on lamp posts. They also arrested members of the pastor's church (including a candidate for office), for undertaking a psalm-singing in a public square in the summer of 2020. (The candidate is believed to have lost the election due to the arrest)..
This may be completely off target, but two of the girls looked so much alike. Could one have been the initial intended target, but the killer had to take care of them both because he didn't know which one was which? Was the male killed first? If so, that could show it was an intentional killing. Stabbing is often linked to crimes of passion and a personal vendetta, perhaps, against one of the victims.
The initial press conference by the district attorney and police looked very suspicious. The police were nervous. The da appears to be a transgender. This location is less than a hundred miles from the tiny bank where FTX was laundering $$. Also, there was the astro turf White power movement a few months ago in Coeur d'Alene, indicating that the CIA has boots in the ground in the area.
Caveat: I am old so my memory is not the best, but ...
After the JFK assassination, weren't the Dallas police also at pains to say they were looking for a single shooter. I think it means they can handle it locally and so there is no need to involve the FBI or anyone out of state.
It is a good ploy if you are implementing a cover-up, say. The fewer people that know the better.
They were talking about this on the Idaho radio show this morning, even the "milk toast" hosts were like were not getting the whole story. Something is way off here.

Did you happen to catch the address of the murder scene?

(I'm an armchair criminologist.)

Oh, yeah! I remember that now. Yeah, something doesn't sit right. Too coincidental to be coincidental.

I did see a segment on Newmax today about it and they did say "...suspect, or possibly multiple suspects" today. First I ever heard anyone say that.
