The Sparks Family Hospital, Northern Nevada Medical center, doctors and individuals are named in the complaint:
so glad to read this!
Seems like a no brainer to me. But might want to put that champagne back in the fridge for now.
The problem with this suit is that the PREP act gives the hospital immunity from liability as long as the follow the protocol. I'm not sure how to get around that, unless that provision of the act was somehow found unconstitutional?
Moral of the story - don’t go to hospitals!
There may be conflicts with other laws/regulations like the patients bill of rights that can be leveraged.
Yes. I want to see how they try to get out of this.
I just spent 10 days pretty ill and going to a doctor didn't even enter my mind. Medicine is dead.
I hope they sue that doc and hospital into oblivion. He is lucky I'm not in that family because he would already have paid.
I would rig an iron lung out of an old wardrobe, a mattress pump, some pool hosing, a solenoid, a stepper motor, a hockey stick with 10 Piss jugs on it and a Raspberry Pi before I would go to the motherfucking hospital.
Lmao
