On a phone you can't but on the computer you can. Just like I would never post a picture..why do they end up sideways or upside down...got me. I really think my grandkids have better computer skills than I do...sometimes life's a mystery. Edit...I turned off community styling...thanks.

Not correct. Turn off community styling in settings and you can downvote on the phone.

Thanks...I saw that after I posted...not realizing the solution. I did turn the community styling off so I will now be able to downvote posts (not that I will...haha). It is always a little button here or there...so easy, yet so complex.

yes and it also turns off all of the avatars, etc, which I find a little distracting. A big downside is that function also turns off the u/#123 links to the q posts.
