This is correct.
A person need to hear it from a trusted source.
If you are an NPR person.
If repeatedly NPR started to repeat they got it wrong about Russia.
They will listen.
The reason why it would work. They need to validate that their sources are correct.
If their sources started to tell the truth. The moment they start fighting against their own sources. They would automatically invalidate every the source has told them.
These types of people "fight to be right" and will degenerate to symantecs when cornered or outright disengage.
They will never agree or admit they were wrong.
You mean like the evening news or the Washington post? Because normies listen to them more than the do us and we come with hard facts.

If the WP told them the truth. They will change their tune.
Once someone trusts a source. That source becomes their truth.
