Not a waste. Sad and horrifying, but not a waste. Looking at it from the soul level, these two young people have likely saved hundreds of other students from vaccine-related injury or death here. From the soul level, they have given their lives to save others. Jesus said there can be no greater gift. I prefer to see them as heroes and trust that they are greeted at Home as such.
I hear you. My kids were little 25 years ago and they had their early vaccines. But then my daughter, at 18 months old, broke out in spots and could not walk for three days hours after getting the MMR vaccine. The doctor told me unequivocally that it had no relation to the vaccine. I became suspicious of the vaccines then but it wasn't until my daughter was about 5 and my son was 3 that I took the stance that my kids weren't having anymore vaccines of any kind. They have since decided I'm a whackjob regarding vaccines (the price I pay for sending them to college apparently). However, my stepdaughter has three little ones and I very carefully handed her info to research a bit at a time and she ran with it. And I am happy to report that nobody's coming near those babies with any needles. She did her research and she understands the con. She is a momma bear and she is not having it. Thank you, God!

There is that way of looking at it. I hope that others learn from this.
Me too. I just read this article and it drove home how many people die from a lack of knowledge about vaccines--and how long that has been going on.

That's a great post on the smallpox vaccine.
