Technically both sides are potentially guilty of grooming by sexualization of minors. I saw my first vagina under the supervision of heterosexuals in a bar when I was a child. Can't imagine it was planned, maybe I was supposed to be interested in the video games at the bar. But I seen't it and pardon the vulgarity, it was well worn. Not really something you look forward to later in life. Like a McDonald's Big Mac commercial vs a McDonald's Big Mac, no shade. Children are going to be pressured by their family and peers enough, I do not know that it is within the best interest to promote any.

Sexuality is something a child should grow into naturally, and naturally go to their parents with questions and concerns when they are comfortable. Then the parents make the decision on what to divulge.
NO OTHER HUMAN BEING on the planet has that authority, right, or permission.
NO ONE...
That is what I am saying. The Child will become an adult and if taught able to decern for themselves. Guidance is one thing but not even Christ demanded that we follow.
This isn't to suggest that the children should get to do as they please, with proper supervision they should be brought up. Spend more time with your Children, some choose not to, others don't seem to get a choice. All for parental rights, remember that they are human as well though!
Sexual sin is sin. To distinguish between the particulars is only helpful when a category is required, that is rare. Displaying nude woman to men is the same sin as displaying nude men to men.
Sexuality has been in the past and should be still promoted in a healthy non-sinful way. Modesty is of course a key element.
The problem is western society has been designed such that everything is sexualized and it has been pushed that it is the entire purpose of life. That has to change.
Well I think that it then boils down to WHO (not world health organization) should be promoting it. We are also told to love our enemies and that seems to be difficult or not possible. Jesus told us who wouldn't get into heaven, it is not anyone else's concern other than you introduce them to the gospel of Christ. It really isn't our business what they do, it is our business what we do.
Of course healthy sex should be promoted at an appropriate age but who better to choose than the parents of the individual?
I should probably just stop asking questions and wait on Jesus to sort it out.
I agree with the comments on sin and promoting sexuality in any way is wrong. My thoughts include promotions/ads/commercials on under garments and swimware should not be allowed at a minimum with real people in them.
AI has advanced that people can virtually try on clothes. That is a data concern.... maybe? God did not make us clothed and it is because of original sin that we know shame and sought covering.
I am with you on the/a conglomeration not using sex to sell. Seems like hypnosis to me.
I agree, and I think the problem is that parents just don't do enough to keep their kids innocent anymore. Explicit pop music is one thing that should have no place in the home. And technology has opened the door for rampant over-stimulation, especially the sexual kind. But it's not new. Someone on my school bus once passed around naked Polaroids of some family member when I was in elementary school, and this was in the 1980s. It was the first time I'd seen something like that and I remember feeling pretty disgusted by it. In middle school, a friend's brother had about a hundred hardcore porn magazines stashed in his couch and we found them. That scarred me for a while, too, because the depiction of sex was so brutal and gross, especially the way the women were posed.
This kind of thing has been happening for a long time. It's just infinitely worse and more common now. I feel really sad for kids who never get to be innocent. Girls, especially, are damaged by this. especially when there is no dad in the home. So yes, people, please teach your kids about the positive side of sex when it's time, but until that time, children are and should remain INNOCENT.
A conversation needs to happen. Children are far more smarter than they are given credit and can handle a lot more information than is suspected, that is a big part of the problem. They are sponges, absorbing just about everything that is going on around them and people assume they are too stupid to realize. They are humans. Introduce them to Christ and try to be better around them or at least explain the negativity to them so that they can have a better chance in their own lives without dumping on people going through their struggles.
I can only reconcile innocent with they do not know better because otherwise they can be little monsters but that is generally a reflection of their environment, so still "innocent" but is that the right word?
"more smarter" Ha!
What the heck happened at that bar???
I imagine she showed her cooter hoping to buy a scooter but this was well before only fans and it was live and there wasn't a cover charge and they let in a minor. This was like 25 or better years ago.
Good luck trying to enforce a ban. Barring becoming blatantly authoritarian and strict in its enforcement. You won’t be able to begin to enforce such a thing to any meaningful degree.
It couldn't be a ban on individuals but it could be a ban on Government and Corporations.
