Poughkeepsie City Court Judge Frank Mora sued New York's court system on Wednesday over its decision to deny him a religious exemption from the system's COVID-19 vaccination mandate.
Because of Mora's refusal to vaccinate himself against COVID-19, which he described as being rooted in his Catholicism, he "remains in exile" from the courthouse and is "barred from his courtroom," according to the lawsuit.
Mora explains that he has "sincerely held religious beliefs which prohibit him from subjecting a healthy body to vaccinations and views such a practice as contrary to God's commandments as reflect in scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church."
After his refusal to get vaccinated, contravening the court system's mandate that was rolled out in August 2021, Mora was prohibited from entering any New York state courthouse, including his own. His duties were also sharply curtailed, limited to overseeing civil cases remotely and issuing opinions in certain criminal matters.
Hopefully the data on how useless and harmful the shots are will come up at trial, bolstering his case.
Interesting he chose the 'religious exemption' route. You'd think as a judge he'd use the Constitutional protections.

Worthless heretic in my book, and I am one to disclaim many deemed as heretics by the church as heretics. Clown world we are living in. But I have to add and say, there are lots of good and godly people left in this world, just don't hold the present pope in that catagory.
True. It would be cool of the lawsuit reveals how one pope is not the Catholic religion in whole...then proceeds to list all the wrongdoings of this current pope.

The pope has NO AUTHORITY over anything other than decisions based on established church doctrine. He is not a political leader.
Though as a catholic I must say he has made statements and actions against church doctrine so I, for one, dont follow his words and am watching to see if he may be the false prophet.
So this judge's decisions are based on his rooted catholic beliefs, his conscience and common sense. And no govt should make you do otherwise.
