Yes. Many act annoyed because their brains are focused on something else they prefer, i.e., their text message, their Starbucks, their Netflix movie, their daydream, their personal work or home issues.

Who needs to have reality intrude and bring their mood down? I often feel like I am the SNL character Debbie Downer.

All the time and I delight in their annoyance, especially if they are truly stupid.

Yes! Every day. But I've recently had a few, including my husband, who are saying I was right about a lot of various issues that sounded crazy 2 years ago. They don't want to listen now anymore than they did back then, but they're starting to push that resistance aside and leaning in.
