It will be quite the twist. We are eventually going to have to swap out one cabal for another, albeit one less evil, megalomaniacal and genocidal, but no less power-hungry. And in time, after great wins and progress, that regime will become corrupted and infiltrated too because we will fail to fortify the institutions and root out all the rot before the psychopaths get a foothold again, like demented weeds invading a glorious rose garden.
