MERS - Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome.
It affects those who are exposed to camel dander. It was created in a lab to target ethnicities who interact with camels on a regular basis.
Here's a quote:
"Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) is a contagious, sometimes fatal respiratory illness. It's often spread through close contact with an infected person. Symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Other symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Treatment includes rest, fluids, pain relievers, and oxygen therapy in severe cases.
And;
"The majority of MERS-CoV cases continue to be reported from the Middle East. The source of the virus remains unknown, but the pattern of transmission and virological studies point to dromedary camels in the Middle East as a reservoir from which humans sporadically become infected through zoonotic transmission."
I'm thinking, if it comes from camel dander, it probably is really coming from some kind of mite in the dander. Which could be treated with Ivermectin, probably.
If it even has anything to do with camels and their dander! I say this because supposedly Covid 19 came from bats. More likely MERS was an early Covid attempt in the Middle East that did not exactly pan out.
I remember originally (2012) they were blaming people for drinking camel urine, but that's an old practice. And camels would always have had dander, how often do they get a bath? Mites as a vector makes the most sense. They could be infected by someone.
