What are people's thoughts here? Why is Trump doing this.
In my mind either he is endorsing crypto or he is preparing the public for a digital currency called Trump bucks.
What is his angle here? I know almost everything he does is strategic.

I think it is decoding fodder for autists.
Of course it can be collectible, if one is so inclined.
Gamestop launched a self custodial wallet this year. If we were ever in a hard crypto financial system, self custodial wallets allow us to hold on to our own assets and as well there are cold wallets which aren't even connected in any way. It's like holding your crypto in a safe that only you can access instead of being in the hands of thieves.

None of them are selling. Avg price is .079eth $100. People are asking for millions but nope - nada.
Trump cards will probably perform just like DWAC. $100 -> $20 in a few months.
On a side note. Were the trump coins ever real? It seemed that was spammed heavily for a while.
I've received over 20 offers on my card and the highest was over 90$
I bought one. Some rare one's are going for a lot of money (not sure if anyone is buying). Some have autographs, features and the system lists how rare it is. For example this one which shows 0.12% have a signature: They are asking 57K for it https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0x24a11e702cd90f034ea44faf1e180c0c654ac5d9/8864 *Edit * I am still waiting to see what kind of graphic I get.
This one sold for $381. https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0x24a11e702cd90f034ea44faf1e180c0c654ac5d9/33156
The owner is asking for $381 - no one is buying them
NFTs (non fungible tokens) are best thought of like art. Some people buy art because they like it and want to keep it, or are investors hoping the value will increase one day and they can sell for profit.
These are not a game, or money. Just a piece of digital art stored on the blockchain that are limited in quantity and individually identified as unique.
NFTs can be any digital medium. Doesn't have to be a card.
That is why if you think there is A Plan, and that Trump is in on that plan, there is no way they would release a literal Trump card unless they were calling attention to the q drop.
No. They have utility and can be used as a member pass or other things. Art is not the mainstay of what social clubs are about. I dont give a whick about the art on 1000s of the nfts i own.
I know what you are talking about.
And what you are talking about is not what these are for.
I don't see the point in making it more complicated for people who are just seeing the term nft for the first time.
How I gave a comparison is accurate in this case for people to get an idea, and they can learn all the intricacies if they choose to delve more.
But you strike me as the type of person who feels the need to tell others they just don't get it. So go ahead, feel free to flex.
WPT started running challenges with cards. Event access is soon to follow, drops based on card holdings.
I think he is leading down the community membership path. Yes.

"Tens of millions are spent on scribbles and solid colors
One on this list is literally just a single color https://www.elitereaders.com/ridiculous-paintings-insanely-sold-for-millions-dollars/
So, what is going on here?
Consider why anyone might want to spend tens of millions of dollars on anything. Obviously they are buying something, and if it’s not the painting, then it must be something else.
What exactly are they buying then?
I think the best clue for solving this riddle is in a mysterious artist who nobody knows who he is, what he looks like he is just known as Banksy.
Yes BanksY -As in his entire name means an institution that takes and distributes money +”Y” Doesn’t get much more transparent than that for what’s going on here.
To understand what that means in practical terms, let’s look at some of his work."
