I could understand if they clam up during an event, but my call was a few days after it was over. I see no military reason for them not to have sent air support from that base, and they may have even had an aircraft carrier closer than that base. People on bases and aircraft carriers that were close must be furious at the stand down order. What is also infuriating is it is very easy to find out whether there was a base reasonably close, but the media never mentioned it. They are either imbeciles, unable to do the most rudimentary research, or are just imbecilic tools of the deep state.
