What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Don’t they have that Eastern Star thing? I have to look it up now.
Adding- according to allaboutcults.org
“The order of the Eastern Star is a society designed for the wives, daughters, and female relatives of men affiliated with Masonry. Affiliated Master Masons who are in good standing may also join. According to the Order of the Eastern Star, they claim no association with Masonry. However, the causes and doctrines are extremely similar.”
My mother was an Eastern Star, through her father who was a mason. She had me in Job’s Daughters during middle school. I dropped that after two years - it just did not feel good in my gut.
I also smashed my Mom’s Eastern Star ring with a hammer one night when I felt it’s presence in my jewelry box was evil (I had some whisky on board but still felt it’s presence and wanted it gone).
I heard about the Masons 20 years ago, and I did not take everything as true, but, I was fostering a little girl who had polio, from Ethiopia, about 20 years ago. Her legs were all twisted and her hips were permanantly turned, she crawled around in the orphanage over there, and when she came here, she learned to use a wheelchair, she was looked at by specialists all over, and she would never walk again, she would have had to have endless surgeries, and only then, her mobility would have been limited to heavy braces and standing to walk just a few steps. She had better mobility in a wheelchair. However a serious scoliosis was there, which would have affected her heart and lungs as an adult. She went to a Shriners Hospital for the surgery, which they did for free. While she in there, I had asked a nurse to see the chaplain so she and I could pray, and maybe she could have communion. The nurse told me there were no ministers that came there. I asked if there was a chapel at the hospital so I could pray while she was in surgery. I was told that there was no such room in the hospital. This was the Shriners Hospital in Springfield Mass. Well, that really opened my eyes and I took all of what I heard seriously. Where have you ever heard of a hospital that did not have chaplains available or a chapel to wait in? I never had in my life, even public hospitals have lists of priests or pastors or rabbis to come and pray with the patients and their families!!!!
Wow. Interesting! Trust your gut when it comes to feeling like something is evil.
And honestly, I almost feel like moving because when I smashed the ring, the obsidian (sp) stone came out and flew into the bushes. I can’t find it for the life of me, and except for digging the damn things out, I guess it’s karma is still around me.
My great grandfather was a 32nd degree mason. I still have a sore, but it’s locked up in a storage unit.
