I am in the trades so know many, many, many people from Mexico and Central America. Some are legal but there is a huge illegal presence. Most of these people send large amounts of their under the table wages back to their families in their home country. Ask yourself how many American dollars are exfiltrated in this way every year. I have seen studies showing that this influx of dollars is the largest source of foreign currency in Mexico.
