And Goth was just Punk renamed. Before that I’m sure it had another name. They never did those things to my knowledge.

I don't know, it was never the Goth types leaning into witchcraft for me. It was always the quiet normal looking types who would then start talking about crystals and casting spells and how Baphomet was actually a good guy.
