How would they be sure they didn't die too? I don't think they would kill those without the jab. Those in charge wanted everyone to take the jab. They didn't take it. Ask why.

Though in that hypothetical, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to consider they had concocted some special "antidote" to make themselves immune to whatever it was they were going to release
