Decorated Navy SEAL commander Robert Ramirez found dead in California home
December 24, 2022
A highly decorated Navy officer, who had just recently taken command of SEAL Team 1, was found dead in his San Diego home Monday, according to reports. He was 47.
Commander Robert “Bobby” Ramirez’s cause of death is unknown as police continue their investigation.
“Bobby was an outstanding leader, devoted husband and father, and a good friend to us all,” Capt. David Abernathy, commanding officer of Naval Special Warfare Group 1, who is in charge of all San Diego-based SEAL teams, said in a statement to Navy Times.
Foul play is not suspected in Ramirez’s death, Abernathy said.
Ramirez, who enlisted in the Navy in 1996, took command of SEAL Team 1 last month.
Ramirez is the second SEAL team commander to have died in the past year.
Commander Brian Bourgeois, who commanded SEAL Team 8 in Virginia Beach, died in December 2021 after falling from a helicopter during a training operation.

Another died suddenly.
They want to get rid of our solders & weapons.
Heart breaking. It’s absolutely heart breaking.
It was a jab or it was foul play. Men like that dont suddenly die.
The jab IS foul play.
Military mandated vax? A SEAL should be in excellent physical health.
Excellent physical health doesn't matter when so many athletes are dying from it.
I’m saying his death had to be caused by the vax, as his health should have been excellent otherwise.
Reminds me of this event:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_G._Rossi
"Rossi died by hanging himself in his home at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, the home base of his impending three-star command, the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, which he was slated to take command of in two days. According to the Army Times, Rossi's corpse was discovered by his wife upon returning home."
Rossi was supposed to replace Lieutenant General David Mann.
"With Rossi's death, David L. Mann's term as USASMDC commanding general was extended beyond statutory limits pending confirmation of another candidate as his successor. James H. Dickinson was nominated and confirmed in December 2012 for promotion to lieutenant general, and relieved Mann on January 5, 2017."
Mann was replaced by John W. Raymond who went on the serve in the Space Force.
Success was too hard to handle, I guess.
This piqued my interest immediately and very few details being given.
I know. There is definitely a back story. Hope it is revealed as those that served deserve dignity and honor. I doubt he off'd himself.
